Planning for high school and beyond begins in elementary school. Join us to learn how to make the right choices for your child. The session is designed to answer your questions about what courses your child should take this summer, next year and beyond!
Speakers will include MCCPTA‘s VP of educational issues, the MCPS director of PreK-12 curriculum, two counselors who have worked at all levels, a parent perspective and a Montgomery College admissions officer to discuss how high school choices are viewed at that level. Topics include proposed Maryland State Department of Education requirements, on-level high school courses, elementary pathways and other more general course selection issues.
