After-school activities are not sponsored by the school nor by the PTA and the school and the PTA are in no way responsible for coordination of these activities. Please contact the after-school activity provider directly with any questions or concerns.

Parents, please note that students participating in after-school activities will be dismissed to the Makerspace after school ends and vendors/sponsors of each activity will pick them up for after-school classes at 4:00 PM. If your child is not going to attend their after-school activity, please notify the vendor directly that day so they are aware they will not be picking up your child from the Makerspace.

Description: Explore our Earth this session! Create a model of earth’s core, mantle, and crust. Make a model of plate tectonics and explore volcanoes. Learn how to read tree rings and then create a mini-habitat for spiders in a hollow log. Test for porosity of a variety of materials found in Earth’s crust and model sedimentary rock creation. Description: Explore a new world of communication by learning American Sign Language (ASL)! ASL is the fourth most commonly used language in the U.S. and learning ASL can open new lines of communication between hearing and hearing impaired individuals.
