Hello Wyngate Families,
Wyngate Elementary Cares (WE Cares) provides PTA-sponsored opportunities for Wyngate students and their families to participate in service activities that benefit the larger community.
WE CARES’ FINAL SANDWICH MAKING EVENT OF THE SCHOOL YEAR WILL TAKE PLACE AT WYNGATE ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6TH, IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE START OF THE SCHOOL DAY. At this event, you and your children will have the opportunity to help make sandwiches and assemble brown bag meals for Bethesda Cares, a community outreach organization that works to prevent, ease, and ultimately end homelessness in Montgomery County. These meals will be distributed at a Bethesda Cares-sponsored soup kitchen.
WHAT: Sandwich making for Bethesda Cares
WHEN: Wednesday, March 6 from 8:15 to 8:50 a.m.
WHERE: Wyngate’s dual purpose room (room 105), directly across from the cafeteria
Children must be accompanied by an adult to participate.

PLEASE NOTE: IN A CHANGE FROM PREVIOUS SANDWICH MAKING EVENTS, WE ASK THAT THOSE DONATING FOOD ITEMS OR OTHER SUPPLIES PLEASE DROP THEM OFF ON TUESDAY, MARCH 5, AT JOCELYN DYER’S HOUSE: 9312 MILROY PLACE IN BETHESDA. DROP-OFF BINS WILL BE LOCATED IN FRONT OF HER HOME. THANK YOU!
