- 10:30 am, New Parent Welcome
- Visit with Principal Wiebe and meet up with other families who are new to Wyngate
- 6:30 pm, Welcome Reception
- Visit with Mr. Wiebe and meet other Wyngate families prior to the PTA meeting
- Babysitting for school-age children is provided in the kindergarten wing
- 7:00 pm, PTA meeting
- Guidance Counselor Terry King will introduce us to Wyngate’s new Mindfulness Center, share examples of the exercises she’s doing with students and offer tours of the center
- Mr. Wiebe will update us on all the happenings at the school
- Our representatives to the Walter Johnson Cluster of schools will brief us on the plans to reopen Woodward High School. High school may seem ages away for our little ones, but keep in mind that our current fifth graders may be in the first class entering this new school (or going to WJ). We encourage you to read this concise document to get up to speed on the issues.
- PTA leaders will share their plans for the year, including an announcement of a new parents-only, evening event and an opportunity for your child to be the principal for the day!
