SIGNS FOR TEACHERS ON FRIDAY
–Teachers will be at school on the morning of Friday, June 12 to clear out their classrooms. Please consider having your student tape a small “thank you” or “welcome back” sign to the outside of the school’s front door or kindergarten classroom doors. Note that students and families are NOT permitted inside the building. The PTA will be providing snacks and drinks for the staff.

CLASS PHOTOS
–In lieu of class pictures, Freed Photography is making a composite of each class using the individual portraits that were taken in the fall. The image will include the teacher’s photo and the everyone’s names. Place your order by July 1 by going to WWW.FREEDPICS.COM,
TEACHER GIFTS/NOTES
–While teachers always appreciate end of year gifts, including the gift cards provided by the PTA, they often tell us that they are the most grateful for notes from their students (and their parents). If you are so inclined, please send a note to your teacher that talks about the impact that he/she had on your child. And consider adding a “cc” to Mr. Wiebe (Travis_J_Wiebe@mcpsmd.org) so that the message can be added to the teacher’s personnel file.
THE PTA NEEDS YOUR HELP FOR NEXT YEAR
–While we don’t know how next year’s PTA events will need to be modified for a COVID world, we do know that we want to continue to make Wyngate a special place for our kids. If you’re willing to share your time, talents and creativity with this vibrant and welcoming community of fellow busy parents, please contact PTA President Caryn Seligman (carynrp@yahoo.com). There are roles large and small.
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
–Though it’s unclear what exactly school will look like in the fall, PLEASE encourage friends/neighbors with rising kindergarten students to register at Wyngate. This is important because the school needs a preliminary headcount in order to ensure that we have the appropriate number of teachers. Details are HERE.
